Being curious like a virgin in a sex shop, I jumped this quicker than a horny cat during mating season. I’ve heard for some time that LG is working on setting up a couple of new devices, the LG X3 being one of the rumored ones out there. Now two new devices from LG showed up in the Universal Plug and Play database, the devices in question being marked as the LG P880 and the LG P700.
For the time being, these two new devices from LG are keeping it all tightly under wraps, but this might change with Mobile World Congress coming in quickly. First of all, the LG P880 might just be the initially rumored LG X3, showing off a display resolution of 1280 x 720 (something we’ve seen on the LG Spectrum and the LG Optimus LTE). The LG P700 on the other hand is coming in with a resolution of 640 x 480, so this will most likely be an entry level device.
Not that I mean the P700 is bad, because entry level is where LG really shines (who still remembers the LG Optimus One?). The initial rumors surrounding the LG X3 said that the device will come with the NVIDIA quad-core processor, the Tegra 3, 4.7 inch display with HD resolution, so basically, as high end as it gets. That’s all I’ve gotten so far from this, but with MWC closing in, more information is bound to pop up sooner or later.
