If there is one thing you should know about good, old, socially awkward me is that I like power! Like any guy basically, I do enjoy the occasional overkill in terms of processing power, horse power or just raw calorie intake in food. Why not eat 2 pizzas and down 10 beers after it? Hell YEAH! Anyway, this time around, we go mobile yet again and check out what Samsung’s preparation a 2GHz quad-core Exynos processor is going.
Now Samsung’s Exynos 4212 and 5250 are dual-core models clocked at 1.5GHz and 2GHz per core respectively. It seems that the upcoming quad-core beast will be coming built on the A15 architecture and will be named Exynos 5450. Seeing as Samsung already said that they wouldn’t be launching the Samsung Galaxy S III at the Mobile World Congress, this time my attention is focused on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 inch model which was rumored to come with the Exynos 5250 dual-core processor. However, there are some leaks here and there which suggest that we might see the Samsung quad-core processor in action as well!
Now for a full list of the tests performed with the new SoCs from Samsung check out the source to see that more power won’t necessarily mean a higher power consumption. This means that you will get more fluidity in your day to day activities but battery life will see an increase as well!
